The Guy Who Makes You Laugh and Question Your Morals

Usually at the same time,
and usually against your better judgment

Roger Monarch Jr.

Roger Monarch Jr. never really set out to be an author. He’s more of a lifelong note‑taker — the guy with scribbles in spirals, half‑filled journals, and beat‑up notebooks that look like they’ve been through a hurricane or two. If something struck him as funny, insane, irritating, or too true to forget, it went in the notebook. Not because he was “writing.” Because he needed somewhere to store the madness.

After years of stacking pages, he went back through the chaos and pulled out the sharpest, most honest pieces. Those notes turned into a book‑length snapshot of how much the world has changed — and how much of that “change” has turned into noise, outrage, and performative culture. That raw manuscript became This Book Will Offend: UNFILTERED

He was told not to publish it, warned it would get him “cancelled,” so he did the next best thing: he wrote it anyway… and released it only to a select few. Yes, there are copies out there. No, he’s not responsible for what happens if someone reads one without proper emotional safety gear.

Wanting to share the stories without setting the room on fire, he took a different angle — what he calls the PG‑13 cut. Same voice. Same truth. Same material. Just took a diffrent arc that has been diluted enough that people could read it without needing a helmet. That version became Common Sense on Life Support.

And the stories didn’t stop. The leftovers — the ones still too wild, too honest, or too likely to make someone clutch their pearls — are fueling the next project: Gen X: UNSUPERVISED.

Roger doesn’t think of himself as a traditional writer. What he does is collect real life as it happens, then years later connect the dots, turn memory into narrative, and say out loud the things most people only think. His work isn’t about being an author. It’s about paying attention — and telling the truth with grit, humor, and absolutely no safety rails.
